With much reservation, Pennal Queen of Hearts is offered for sale with her colt foal at foot (by Pennal Welsh Guard) and with the choice of covering her with a resident stallion or leaving her empty.
Pennal Queen of Hearts b.2009 is by Thorneyside Brenin and out of Pennal Lady Lowri. Blessed with having the good fortune of a number of outstanding fillies arrive in the last few years, it has meant that hard decisions have had to be made and this exceptional young mare (who is still only 3 in the photos below) and of the very best of breeding is offered for sale. Her colt foal, just a few days old in the photos, already had tremendous presence and is moving off all 4 and is a definite show prospect for the future.

Limited Edition Model of Pennal Brynmor
|

Pennal is a Welsh Cob stud which is managed without compromise and always with the aim of producing an even better animal for the future benefit of the breed. Pennal welsh cobs are bred for type, temperament and movement with the ability and conformation to perform and excel in all disciplines.
Pictured right is the George Prince of Wales Cup, set up in 1908 to help protect the Welsh Cob from being damaged by outside influences that were threatening the purity of the welsh cob at the time.
Less than 10 years after the Cup was introduced, Rhystyd Lady Horace was foaled and registered with the Welsh Pony & Cob Society. The breeders were the Rowlands Harris family of Mabwshen, to whom Dai Harris is descended. Pennal Brynmor's dam, Pennal Lively Maid is the g,g,g,g,g,g daughter of that first mare registered back in 1915, although the tradition of breeding welsh cobs in the Harris family, preceeds even the first Welsh Stud Book.
