Whilst Dai is very modest about his stud - you will never hear him bragging about his stock away from Pennal - he is extremely proud and grateful to the people who have taken their "new purchases" on to do so well whether it is the show ring, stud or paddock duties.

Pennal Free Dancer b.1999, now owned by Mr Batt, Abergavenny Stud took third in the senior mare class in the worst of the weather. Her foal (by Trevallion Picasso) did even better than the dam winning the Filly Foal class.
** update** Pennal The Great b. 2002, now owned by Shona Thomson, has made a tremendous start to his ridden career by coming 2nd at the HOYS show in 2008. Congratulations to all involved in getting such a wonderful result in his first year under saddle.
Pennal Heart of Gold b. 2004 had much in hand success with his owner at the time, Mr Kendall. Heart of Gold has now moved to Scotland, to start a career under saddle with his new owners.
